Foskett has an interesting line of descent thru many English that came to Massachusetts during the period of the Great Migration (see: www.greatmigration.org) around 1630-45. Here is a one page chart going 4 generations back for example.
Frank W. Foskett came from Orange MA in the 1880's to Nortonville, CA. He later owned the Concord Meat Market with partner Herbert Elworthy. In 1911, they started a bank called First National Bank of Concord and built the "old bank" building at the corner of Salvio and Galindo streets in Concord.
