Frank W. Foskett came from Orange MA in the 1880's to Nortonville, CA. He later owned the Concord Meat Market with partner Herbert Elworthy. In 1911, they started a bank called First National Bank of Concord and built the "old bank" building at the corner of Salvio and Galindo streets in Concord.

Early Concord Cattlemen
This photo taken from the book "History of Concord - It's progress and promise". It appears they are branding this cow. Since Foskett and Elworthy owned land at Government Ranch, these could be them (??).
