Frank W. Foskett came from Orange MA in the 1880's to Nortonville, CA. He later owned the Concord Meat Market with partner Herbert Elworthy. In 1911, they started a bank called First National Bank of Concord and built the "old bank" building at the corner of Salvio and Galindo streets in Concord.

Shares of stock owned by Foskett. FNB of Concord was bought by American Trust Company, which itself was later purchased by Wells Fargo. These original stock certificates are on file at the Wells office on Montgomery in SF.
